Target Audience
This Safari is intended for:
- Organisations that are not yet members of CFIHOS and who want to know more about the standard.
- Staff within member-organisations that have only basic awareness of the standard and want to learn more about it.
Presenters & Objectives
Peter Townson and Anders Thostrup will be your safari guides. Peter will provide an in-depth exploration of CFIHOS, including its background, history, implementation, and future plans. Anders will also join us to highlight the collaboration partners and their importance in advancing this specification.

Background USPI Safaris – your platform for connecting with peers
One of USPI’s goals is to provide a platform for members to exchange problems, developments and views about international standards and best practices for plant lifecycle information. Our safaris are one of our preferred mechanisms to achieve this goal, i.e. to get in contact with and involve our members and MOU partners. They are networking events, organized by USPI for members to share knowledge on information management and international standardization in the plant engineering supply chain.
The purpose is to facilitate a member company to share in-depth knowledge on topics or developments taking place in their company with a group of experts from other member companies to encourage learning and networking across our members.
Interactive Format
This is a learning event. We therefore encourage your active participation and engagement. We will take questions and encourage dialogue throughout the session. At the end there will also Q&A session.
